Average Penis Size

The male penis size is calculated keeping in mind both, the length, and the width of the penis. The width is also called penis girth or thickness. To accurately measure the penis size, multiple measurements at different times are necessary. This is essential because the penile size can vary at different times of the day due to the following factors;

Over the years, many scientific studies on sample groups have been undertaken. These sample tests have registered an average penis size measurement of 13-15 cm or 5.2 to 5.10 inches in most males. These measurements are for an erect penis. Surprisingly, most of a man’s penile growth occurs from birth till the age of 5 and in later years for 5 years after a young male reaches the age of puberty. Interestingly, there are no scientifically proven facts that suggest any relation of penis size to race. This means that penile length is not bigger in certain races and is a highly exaggerated misconception. Another interesting fact is that circumsized males have slightly shorter penis length than those uncircumsized. This difference between circumsized and uncircumsized penise size is around 8mm.

A normal penis size is between 4 to 6 inches. So, if your penis measures between 4 inches to 6 inches, you are perfectly normal and have nothing to worry about. However, certain people with average penis sizes still feel the need to grow their penile length. This is because, many men are convinced that women are impressed with a longer penis size. This may be true in some cases, but as is evident today, most women are more concerned about a man’s education, career and financial stability rather than just their penile sizes. For people unhappy with their penis length, there are various penis exercises and penis enlargement techniques available which may help increase penile length.
